SS-90-1 MATERIAL (40 oz.)
A cost effective high performance vinyl specifically designed for dock seals, truck and rail shelters. This vinyl is knife coated, not laminated, to maximize adhesion of coating to the base fabric. The base fabric is constructed of high tenacity polyester yarns woven into a unique “panama” weave to maximize tear and tensile properties. The special abrasion resistant vinyl formulation has an abrasion resistance of over 30,000 cycle based on method #5306 of federal standard 191 test procedures. The clear glossy lacquer surface coating maximizes abrasion resistance, resistance to weather, U.V. Rays and air borne pollutants. The durable SS-90-1 is also very washable to keep it looking its best longer.
SS-90-2 MATERIAL (40 oz.)
A high performance vinyl specifically designed for dock seals, truck and rail shelters. This vinyl is designed with a 4000 Denier yarn, with every fourth yarn in filling direction adding maximum tear strength. This special abrasion resistant vinyl formulation has an abrasion resistance of over 30,000 cycle based on method #5306 of federal standard 191 test procedures. The SS-90-2 is fire retardant, mildew and rot resistant. The special coating provides ideal weather, U.V. ray and air pollutant resistant, while maximizing cleanability.
“RIP STOP” (16 oz.)
A super performance vinyl specifically designed for inflatable seals and shelters. This vinyl is knife coated, not laminated to maximize adhesion of coating to the base fabric. The base fabric is adapted from Rip Stop weaves used in parachute cloth, thereby maximizing tear strength. This special abrasion resistant vinyl formulation has an abrasion resistance of over 490 cycle based on method #5306 of federal standard 191 test procedures. The “RIP-STOP” is fire retardant, mildew and rot resistant. The clear glossy lacquer surface coating maximizes abrasion resistance, resistance to weather, U.V. Rays and air borne pollutants.
