Series 1000

The 1000 Series doors (SS-1, SS-3, SS-4, and SS-6) are all uniquely customized to suit openings up to 8’w x 8’h. This series of impact traffic doors are ideal where privacy into restricted areas and appearance are a major considerations.

The “Super Swing” no spring gravity hinge are zinc plated to prevent corrosion and open with the slightest touch and closes softly and quietly. The “Super Swing” hinge system allows for minor door adjustments and consist of either Standard Aluminum hinge covers & zinc plated hardware (supplied) or a choice of Galvanized Hinge Covers.

Each door includes our standard Safety Acrylic window, standard size is 9”w x 14”h, however, custom windows sizes and window tints (dark or light variations) are available.

The door panels consist of 18 gauge galvanized channel trim at the top, back and leading edges which create a classic, solid impact door that can handle many years of use.

What makes each of these models unique is the various cladding options available:

Model SS-1: Ultra-Core Plywood core with laminate outer finish makes these impact doors ideal for visual barriers and the SS-1 consists of up to 48” h, Galvanized Kickplates (each side of door panel) with aluminum cladding upper panel of door. Making this ideal for creating privacy and a clear barrier for open spaces.

Model SS-3: Ultra-Core Plywood core with laminate outer finish makes these impact doors ideal for visual barriers and the SS-2 consists of either Stainless Steel kickplates or one side Galvanized/other side Stainless Steel kickplates (up to 48” h), with aluminum cladding upper panel of door. Making this ideal for creating privacy and a clear barrier for open spaces.

Model SS-4: The SS-4 model is built with Stainless Steel Kickplates (each side of door panel) of up to 18” h, with high pressure laminate sheets for the upper panel of door making this door ideal for a more decorative environment.

Model SS-6: The SS-6 has a slightly different configuration as the body consists of 0.064″ thick aluminum sheet with vertically formed Delta Edges for strength and rigidity. Kickplates can consists of a choice between Stainless Steel, Galvanized and/or Spring Bumpers.

Model SS-11: The SS-11 has a slightly different configuration as the body consists of 1″ thick Agri-Can complaint, constructed with 3/4″ Honey Comb Core, sealed in by high-density textured 1/8″ Tuff Plas” ABS paneling.

Available in a wide range of models with brand name high-pressure laminate finishes such as: Arborite, Formica, Wilsonart, Nevamar and Pionite in both solid and woodgrain finishes, we design and build all doors to customers specifications in line with our years of expertise.

Also available with metal cladding such as; stainless steel, anodized aluminum and galvanized steel, either solid or in combination.
